The fastest way to build a strong program is to define the credential claim before creating lessons.
Step 1: Name the audience and outcome
Identify who the program is for, what they will demonstrate and why the credential is useful. Avoid “for everyone.” A narrow audience produces clearer prerequisites, examples and assessment decisions.
Step 2: Select the credential type
Choose a certificate of completion, professional certification, continuing-education record or digital badge. Match the wording to the evidence. Enrolius does not create accreditation or regulatory acceptance; those come from the relevant authority.
Step 3: Write the criteria
List observable requirements. Replace “understands safety” with “scores at least 80 percent on the safety assessment and completes the incident-response exercise.” State whether evidence may be resubmitted and who approves an exception.
Step 4: Choose a route
Use Enrolius Learning for native text, PDFs, embeds, quizzes and progress. Use SCORM 1.2 beta when suitable content already exists. Choose no-course when qualification depends on external evidence or manual review. The existing-LMS route is a preview and should not be planned as a guaranteed connector.
Step 5: Design the minimum content
Every lesson should support a criterion. Remove material that is interesting but not required. Use short modules, explicit outcomes and quiz feedback. A first program is easier to improve when the path is focused.
Step 6: Configure issuance
Decide whether completion can issue the credential or only creates a review task. Professional claims often deserve human approval. Record the program version so an issued credential can be understood later.
Step 7: Set verification and expiry
Review the public verification result from an employer's perspective. It should identify the issuer, credential and status without claiming more than the provider established.
If the credential expires, define the validity period and renewal requirement. Enrolius includes one renewal reminder in the initial product.
Step 8: Run three tests
Test the happy path, an incomplete or disputed record, and a renewal. Export the results. Fix policy gaps before inviting a larger cohort.
Free-plan launch
Enrolius Free allows one real program and three learner places permanently, without a card or trial deadline. It is designed for this exact validation loop.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need all lessons before publishing?
